Autoflowering Shiva Skunk seeds

90.00

Autoflowering Shiva Skunk is an 80 % indica strain, but the influences of its 20 % sativa ancestry are evident in the high felt after consumption. In many ways, it's an easy-to-grow indica, just like its equally popular ancestor, Northern Lights #5. Shiva Skunk Autoflowering growth patternThis is an autoflowering strain, making it the ideal choice for novices. Autoflowering varieties are also ideal for growers looking for a plant that's easy to maintain, without compromising yield too much. Autoflowering Shiva Skunk is hardier than the average cannabis plant, which means it can be grown outdoors in most climates, even those with cooler, wetter summers. It can also be grown indoors. Its autoflowering properties also mean that it can be grown in locations benefiting from unusual photoperiods. Such locations include Ecuador (where only sativa plants would thrive) and the far north, in countries with long summer days. Shiva Skunk Autoflowering has a relatively short flowering period. Whether grown indoors or out, you can expect to see it flower when it produces its fifth to eighth series of full leaves. This generally occurs after six to eight weeks of vegetative growth. As with many indica-dominant strains, Autoflowering Shiva Skunk is a compact plant. During the flowering period, it will reach its final height, which will probably be between 90 and 140 cm. This is an advantage for discreet growers, as the plants will be neither too tall nor too noticeable! Autoflowering Shiva Skunk seeds produce compact plants densely covered with buds. Growers often appreciate its distinctive silvery-green color, as well as its high resin production. The leaves have a classic Skunk appearance: elongated, narrow and dark. All autoflowering varieties produce slightly lower yields than feminized and regular variants. However, this variety performs well, providing a good yield without requiring too much maintenance or effort. For many growers, it's a compromise they're more than happy to accept. Later, during flowering periods, expect the buds to increase in mass, becoming heavier and more resinous with each passing day. When ready to harvest, the buds are covered with a layer of resinous glands - another nod to its ancestor, Northern Lights #5. The trichome coverage can be even more noticeable when the buds are dried and refined. As with all cannabis flowers, the buds shrink as they dry, making the resin glands even more apparent. Expect dried buds to take on a silvery-green color, with blunt tips and a glossy sheen. In fact, if viewed with a magnifying glass, small refracted rainbows can be seen; this is attributed to the fact that a large proportion of the resin glands remain transparent, even after drying. For those looking for a hardy variety that adapts well to most climates, Autoflowering Shiva Skunk is a good choice. As this is an autoflowering variety, most growers don't try to train it. However, some people have had success with the SOG (Sea of Green) and ScrOG (Screen of Green) growing methods. It also responds well to super cultivation and lollipopping. The effect, taste and smell of Autoflowering Shiva SkunkThis indica-dominant plant produces an intense, yet smooth high. The heady, cerebral high often inspires deep thought, and sometimes even enthusiasm and laughter, thanks to its 20 % sativa ancestry. Users often describe feeling a pleasant sense of physical relaxation, and some consume the strain for therapeutic purposes. When growing, you'll detect an identifiable musky smell, although Autoflowering Shiva Skunk also has a pleasant citrus aroma. This aroma becomes earthy after harvest, when the buds are dried. The earthy notes, with their fresh lemon and Skunk taste, are more noticeable when consumed. Did you know? Autoflowering Shiva Skunk won 1st prize for Outdoor Grow at The Urban Club's Cannaval. This strain also won 2nd prize at the BHO Copa de Asociaciones Canarias. It is also available in the Shiva Skunk Feminized and Shiva Skunk Regular variants, named after the Hindu deity Shiva, often associated with cannabis.
