Autoflowering Super Skunk seeds

Powerful, sweet and easy to grow, Autoflowering Super Skunk is a favorite among novice growers with limited time, space and energy. Plants can thrive outdoors, even in short, humid summers. This variety is ideal for growers looking for compact, low-maintenance plants that produce incredible buds. Super Skunk Autoflowering growth patternSuper Skunk Autoflowering seeds produce powerful, fast-flowering plants. Their ancestry is 80 % indica, which means they're generally compact. They are also autoflowering, which is ideal for growers with little experience, energy or time. Plants start to flower after a predetermined period, between three and five weeks after the seedlings appear. Although flower appearance is not affected by the amount of daylight the plant receives, plants will benefit from an extended light cycle (between 14 and 18 h per day) to increase potency and yield. The flowering period generally lasts between seven and nine weeks, and plants do not revert to vegetative growth, even if the photoperiod is unpredictable. Super Skunk is usually grown indoors under lights. However, this autoflowering variant of Super Skunk can also thrive outdoors in temperate climates. If summer is cooler, the plant's autoflowering capabilities mean that the flowering period will be synchronized with the longest days of the season. This ensures that buds and resin develop under the sun, rather than in the cooler, wetter months of autumn. Autoflowering Super Skunk plants are relatively compact, which means that techniques such as topping and super-cultivation are not appropriate. Most growers use autoflowering varieties to escape as much maintenance and plant interference as possible. However, growers with more experience and a curious nature may wish to experiment with Sea of Green (SOG), Screen of Green (ScrOG) and lollipopping techniques. These techniques work well with the plant's «head-on-a-stick» growth patterns. Heads are dense, good-sized and bright green. They are covered with a generous layer of trichomes and large calyxes. Autoflowering Super Skunk is not the highest-yielding variety, but its harvests will be rewarding. More growing space and more hours of sunlight during flowering will help maximize yield. Make no mistake, the heads of this plant are satisfying and by no means small. The effect, taste and smell of Autoflowering Super SkunkThe smell of Autoflowering Super Skunk is often surprising. Unlike other strains in this family, the aromas are not oppressive, reminiscent of fresh citrus. The base notes are warm and spicy like those of other Skunks, reflecting the plant's indica heritage. Aromas become more noticeable as flowering begins, but are not oppressive like those of regular, feminized Super Skunk variants. The smell reaches its peak during the last week. After ripening, the lemon scent of the buds is less prominent. However, the taste is very pronounced when consumed. The effects of Super Skunk Autoflowering are suitable for both recreational and therapeutic use. The general sensation is one of relaxation (thanks to its 80 % indica ancestry), although the tonic aspect of the buds is attributed to the sativa ancestry. Plants grown outdoors tend to be less potent than those grown indoors. This is true of most cannabis strains. This decrease in potency often suits people looking for a plant that offers good pain or stress relief, without the intensity that often accompanies it. It also makes it an ideal choice for people who are not used to consuming cannabis. Did you know? Super Skunk was first released in 1990 and has won numerous awards, including the prestigious Cannabis Cup. Growers of all experience levels can successfully cultivate Super Skunk. Sensi Seeds also offers Super Skunk Regular and Super Skunk Feminized variants.
