This variety was developed as part of Sensi Seeds Research's 2021 project from three well-known parents: Hindu Kush with Autoflowering, Skunk #1 and Shiva Skunk. By virtue of her genetic make-up, she has a skunk-like aroma and flavour, and delivers a classic indica stone. Adventurous growers will be pleased to learn that there are phenotypic variations which mean that not all plants are alike. Equally important, this is an autoflowering version. Novice growers will find it easy to cultivate, since the plants will all develop into females, and their flowering is predictable. Flowering is of medium duration, usually lasting eight weeks (indoors). Like many indica-dominant strains, Autoflowering Purple Skunk is compact in size, making it a good candidate for discreet outdoor cultivation, or rooms with limited space. Plants produce sturdy conical or pyramid-shaped central colas with rounded tips. Although small in size, the plants produce heavy harvests, both indoors and out. The buds are large and heavy, with a distinctive purple color. Plants grown in cooler temperatures are particularly colorful. In fact, Autoflowering Purple Skunk prefers cooler climates, but it can also be grown indoors, under lamps. Effect, taste and smell of Autoflowering Purple SkunkThe appearance and stone of Autoflowering Purple Skunk reflect its indica dominance. Many people report a pleasant stone that provides intense relaxation without being paralyzing. The plants give off a typical indica scent of skunk and damp earth, mingled with soft, exotic notes of sandalwood. The smell intensifies as the plants mature, which is something growers should consider. Taste-wise, Purple Skunk offers the same rich earth and skunk aromas. Did you know?
