This combination produces vigorous, high-yielding plants with a distinct Skunk smell and taste. This is a regular variant of the variety, which means that the seeds produce both male and female plants. This is advantageous for more experienced growers wishing to create their own hybrids. It is also useful for growers wishing to create their own seeds. However, initial yields may be slightly limited by the presence of male plants. Since they are regular, seeds of this variety require a temperate or continental climate to reach their full potential. It has a short flowering period, between 50 and 60 days (both indoors and outdoors). When grown outdoors, the buds are ready for harvesting between late September and early October. Skunk Kush Regular is not one of the largest varieties on the market. The plant reaches a moderate height (the maximum height is generally 150 cm, whether grown indoors or outdoors). This size is useful for people who grow these plants in a tent or in a location where height is restricted. Skunk Kush Regular takes on a candelabra shape as it grows. The slight indica dominance means that the leaves are generally dark green and leathery, and the branches are robust and strong. The yield is exceptionally generous and the buds are usually covered with frosted trichomes. The Afghan heritage is immediately apparent as the heads begin to develop; bulbous calyxes will create dense, semi-open heads that are quite heavy. Their large surface area ensures good resin production. Some trichomes develop such bulbous heads that it is possible to observe them swelling and changing color in the final stages of growth. When plants are left to their own devices during growth, the central head takes up about half the main stem, or up to 75 %, in more open female plants. Skunk Kush Regular thrives in warmer Mediterranean climates. In sunny, temperate conditions, this variety can produce very high yields, without succumbing to mildew.
