Award-winning NL5 X Haze plants are 70 % sativa and 30 % indica, and can produce abundant yields year after year. Even indoors, they reach impressive sizes and have a pleasantly spicy, sweet fragrance. This combination results in a plant that is able to reach a significant height and produces several dense buds. Although the hybrid variety was developed many years ago, it remains a firm favourite with growers the world over. This is the regular variant of the NL5 x Haze variety, which means that the seeds will produce both male and female plants. The advantage? The plants can be used to generate seeds for further cultivation. They can also be used for hybridization. Northern Lights #5 x Haze has a slightly longer flowering period of between 65 and 75 days. During ripening, the plants reach great heights. This is particularly true of outdoor cultivation, which can produce plants reaching between 250 and 300 cm. Indoors, the height is less. Plants reach an average height of 120-170 cm at flowering. Typically sativa in appearance, this variety has long branches which are quickly obscured by numerous dense buds. Indoors, you can expect to harvest around 450 g/m2. Outdoors, experienced growers can achieve up to 800 g/plant. Because of the longer flowering period, NL5 x Haze needs to be grown in a country with long, hot summers. It can be grown indoors all year round. Growers tend to keep plants fairly short by increasing the photoperiod to 12 h after germination. Lollipopping and super-cultivation methods guarantee good results with this variety.
