Wiz Khalifa launches his cannabis brand in Colorado
Wiz Khalifa is the latest artist to join the’american cannabis industry, after announcing its exclusive partnership with the River Rock dispensary in Denver, Colorado.
Products bearing his likeness, weed, space food and focused, will arrive at Denver's two River Rock dispensaries on April 20, just in time for the 420 party.
«These products have taken years to perfect,» says Wiz Khalifa. «I'm really excited to finally be able to share them with the public and work with River Rock to raise awareness and end cannabis prohibition nationwide.»
Wiz Khalifa takes a different approach than other artists who have gone into the business, such as Snoop Dogg with his Leafs brand or Willie Nelson and his Willie's Reserve, He is also committed to educating people about the plant and changing federal cannabis policies.
Norton Arbelaez, founder of the River Rock dispensary, explains: «It's been a pleasure to work with Wiz and create these products, not only because of his respect for the plant, but also for his involvement in political reform.
As of now, a variety of cannabis called Khalifa Kush is available in selected medical dispensaries in Southern California, but April 20 will be the first day that Wiz-branded products will be available for purchase by medical and recreational patients.
