Berner launches Social Club, the Instagram of weed
Tired of having your cannabis-related Instagram account deleted? Berner has the solution.
Rapper Berner has released his Social Club app dedicated to cannabis which, among other things, will allow enthusiasts to discuss their practices. Since Instagram has an unfortunate tendency to arbitrarily delete accounts that mention the plant, Berner intends to offer a stable alternative here.
Berner is an American rapper born in California who began his music career in 2007 under the Taylor Gang, before starting his own record label Bern One Entertainment. He ran a clinic from the age of 18 to 25, before being discovered by Wiz Khalifa, after the latter had heard a demo by Berner featuring Equipto.
Today, he heads a financial empire. Berner has opened a Cookies dispensary in San Francisco, which offers his cannabis strains and a full range of related products, from logoed clothing to «odor-proof» backpacks. He is associated with the «Cookie Family,» a group of cannabis breeders who produce strains well-known cannabis strains in California and elsewhere, such as the Girl Scout Cookies or the Sunset Sherbert.
In an interview, Berner expressed his desire to see legislation passed that would legalize cannabis at the federal level. «Federal legalization will mean two things. 1) That people will be able to experience cannabis in everyday situations. 2) I won’t have to worry about it being illegal anymore. I want to be able to put my money in the bank, buy a home for my kids, and have fun. I feel like right now, there’s this big gray area. I want the cannabis industry to be treated like any other business. »I’m a father. I have children. I want to be just like any other businessman.»”.
