Snoop Dogg takes another swipe at Donald Trump in his latest clip
The famous American rapper and his team are definitely not fond of the 45th President of the United States! After sharply criticizing and attacking Donald Trump in his clip Lavander, which had displeased the president and his government, he attacks him in his new clip Mount Kushmore, from his latest album, Nova Left,
The clip, with its cartoon-like graphics, shows the rapper accompanied by his bro, pioneers of cannabis cultivation who campaigned for legalization in the 90s: Cypress Hill's B-Real, Red Man, Method Man, Cheech & Chong and Willie Nelson, The video replaces them with these American hip-hop legends, smoking blunts galore, not far from the Mount Rushmore National Memorial in South Dakota. On this famous monument to the country's most famous presidents (George Washington, Theodore Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson), the clip replaces them with these American hip-hop legends.
Note the play on words in the title, the term « rush »replaced by « kush »which places the title in the great tradition of the weed songs, with an oldschool rap sound. At the start of the clip, Donald Trump, accompanied by his escort, arrives at the site of the monument. He is astonished to discover that the heads of the presidents have been replaced by those of the rappers, which does not fail to displease him.
There are also references to cannabis in the lyrics, such as « Aiy lil’ nigga gon’ hit that dope» (come on buddy pull on this joint), « go get a weed app homie, i got that weed that your P.O »(goes on cannabis application [referring to Weedmaps ?] buddy, I've got your probation officer's weed) or «take three in a row».
It's the perfect sound for rolling a banger and chilling out to the oldschool sound of West Coast rappers outside our borders.
