This weekend is Expogrow 2018
Expogrow, one of Spain's leading cannabis fairs, opens its doors this weekend, September 14–16, 2018, in Irun, just a few meters from the French border.
As it is every year, this will be an opportunity to check out the latest products from the hemp and cannabis, as well as a large French community. The proximity to the border makes it easier to hold a trade show that could not take place under the same conditions just 500 meters further north.
This 7th edition will welcome more than 180 exhibitors and 1,200 industry professionals across the four pavilions at the Ficoba fairgrounds. The first morning is dedicated to networking among industry professionals, who will also take turns presenting their products throughout the three-day event.
This year, the Cannabis Box Forum is changing its format and transforming into a talk show where audience participation—which is often rare at conferences—will be encouraged. Kenzi Riboulet, a founding member of the FAAAT, the Foundation for Alternative Approaches to Addiction, will be the sole French representative at these conferences.
The Expogrow Cannabis Cup, a competition that will honor the best weed, concentrates, hash, and autoflowering strains, will be judged by an all-female panel. We’ll especially be delighted to meet Mishka, a French writer and activist, founder of the publishing house Mama Edition, Mila Jansen, Noucetta Kehdi, creator of the Pollinator and the Dab-a-Doo, and co-founder of GHE.
As for entertainment, the Expogrow 2018 marquee will host the French electro-pop band Deluxe (on Friday) and Demi-Portion (on Saturday) in the evening, as well as various other bands and DJs.
Finally, you'll probably run into us in the fairgrounds or at the city's clubs 😉
