Workaholics series ends season 7
Blake, Adam and Anders will soon be leaving us. The Workaholics gang of three actor/creator pals will indeed be ending their series after filming season 7.
Synopsis of the series
If you're a fan of geeky, stoner, potty humor, Workaholics is for you. This foncedés series features three college graduates entering the working world. As roommates, the three buddies pull one stupid stunt after another, all the while discovering the cruelty of the adult world. On the program, alcohol, cannabis and a heavy touch at work. It has to be said that their job as telephone prospectors doesn't really stimulate them, except when they have to make fun of their colleagues or prepare for their evening out.
The 3 main actors hardly changed their names in the series, as if they were embodying their own characters. Adam DeVine becomes Adam DeVamp, Anders Holm turns into Anders Holmviks and Blake Anderson doesn't have to worry about becoming Blake Henderson. If the French dubbing leaves something to be desired, the Vostfr versions are more convincing.
The main actors, also creators of the series, announced that they were bringing Workaholics to an end after 7 successful seasons. «We want to thank Comedy Central, Doug Herzog, Kent Alterman and all the fans for supporting us». Workaholics was part of the audience record on the Comedy Central channel.
«It was an incredible experience, we decided to go out and make a strong impression.»
Plans for the future
The 3 pals will continue to work together for the foreseeable future. Netflix has offered them a collaboration with Seth Rogen, We've also retained Workaholics producer Kyle Newacheck for a film entitled «Game Over, Man! The film is expected sometime in 2017 and should resemble This is the end.
