From her father, she learned a taste for music and cannabis, which grew in the family garden, and from her mother a love of cooking. Her book is a way of sharing part of her family heritage with the world.
However, she warns against cannabis abuse, and her recipes are limited to 5mg THC to achieve the «moderate and joyful» effect her father loved (one dose is usually equivalent to 10mg THC). Cedella Marley refers to cannabis as «the world's most natural painkiller». She also points out that sharing cannabis dishes with friends makes evenings more fun.

She also claims that 'it's organic, it doesn't affect the liver and has no calories or sugars: it's a rich, natural ingredient.»
The book, which is sure to find a place on Colombian bookshelves, also explains the characteristics of certain varieties of cannabis, so you can learn to recognize them or match them to your dishes.
