Paradise Seeds' medical cannabis program expands!
Chile and others South American countries benefit from an innovative therapeutic program, supported by Paradise Seeds, which aims to help both growers and user association networks guarantee access to cannabis for therapeutic purposes.
Paradise Seeds has also been chosen as the official genetics supplier for the important «Daya Fundacion», South America's largest association for the cultivation and distribution of cannabis extracts to a network of patients suffering from various illnesses, including epilepsy and cancer.
Through workshops and courses, the Chilean charity, supported by the local government, teaches people how to grow cannabis to help them deal with their condition, and provides them with free medical assistance.
Ana María Gazmuri, Executive Director of the Daya Foundation, explains: «We greatly appreciate this donation from Paradise Seeds: our patients will be able to harvest their crops, alleviate symptoms and improve their quality of life. This is essential for our patients, and we hope that many more will be able to start and continue their cultivation.
The 2018 Chilean donation is just one example of the medical program launched earlier this year to help those who need it most.
The «Paradise Seeds Medical Cannabis Program» is active and accessible to all patients who can demonstrate, with the help of a certificate, that they have a «medical condition» and a prescription to consume cannabis.
Cannabis patients who grow for their own personal therapeutic use receive a 50% discount on all Paradise Seeds strains (this offer is available for countries with no restrictions on seed importation).
The program is accessible to any user who can provide valid medical documents (such as a medical prescription, a health card and a doctor's prescription) and a copy of an ID document on the Paradise Seeds.
Since the launch of the medical program, Paradise Seeds has been overwhelmed by feedback from therapeutic users who share their experiences of how cannabis has helped them: from individual users to producer groups like the members of the «Social Club La Piantiamo», to which Paradise donated genetics last February and which caters for the needs of over 300 of their disabled members.
As founder and chief «selector» of Paradise Seeds, Luc Krol said:
«When we launched Paradise Seeds 25 years ago, we quickly realized that patients with a variety of illnesses were using cannabis to alleviate their symptoms.ômy. Cannabis brings relief to thousands of consumers, but many patients continue to struggle to find a continuous, reliable supply of high-quality cannabis.. They are forced to buy on the street, paying high prices.levThe company's products are often of poor quality, non-organic and contain harmful additives.
It's about time change. Medical cannabis cultivation for personal use should be a guaranteed human right.
This initiative is a sign of our conviction and we hope that the program will help all the patients who need it most. For a medical cannabis consumer, growing your own plant is the only way to guarantee quality, consistency and continuity. « .
The experience of a medical cannabis user
Juan (43) is a Spaniard who uses cannabis therapeutically and has suffered from muscle spasms ever since he was involved in a work accident as a construction worker. He chose and uses Wappa to produce its cannabis oil and to treat its pathology:
«I suffer from a musculoskeletal disorder which, according to the doctors, is the result of repeated lifting.pOver the years, I've suffered from muscle spasms in my lower back that can be very painful and block me. I took strong painkillers, but I didn't like what they were doing to my body, nor the side effects.
About five years ago, my girlfriend suggested...rI decided to treat myself with cannabis. I'd never used it before, but I've been using it ever since.tudiI took a break and discovered that cannabis reduces inflammation. I took a moment, borrowed a vaporizer (no burning!) and étwas surprised by the results. All I know is that it relaxes me and, as a result, my muscle spasms become much more controlled.ôlables and bearable.
From theà, I have grown many strains over the years, and the « Wappa »turned outrée to be the most appropriate strain, and I'm prefère, for my situation. When I heard about the Paradise Medical Program, I immediately signed up. All I can say is thank you Paradise for providing what I personally consider to be an essential therapy!
The «paradise» strains most used by members of the medical program
Paradise Seeds has 36 strains with different potential terpene profiles and primary or secondary cannabinoids, enabling each user to meet his or her needs.
Here are the genetics that currently show the greatest preference, both at the «Daya Fundacion» and as an application to the medical program.
For feminized, Sativa Nebula 2 CBD or the Durga Mata 2 CBD which were developed in collaboration with the CBD Crew of Mr Shantibaba. These two varieties are used in particular for their high CBD content (around 10%) and similar THC potential to provide patients with a 1:1 ratio of primary cannabinoids and to take advantage of the’entourage effect. These two strains are very different from each other, also in terms of their characteristic effects.
For self-blooming, The new Pandora, an Indica for its analgesic capacity to relieve muscular and arthritic pain while reconciling the rest, and a Sativa, the’Auto Jack, which is beneficial for improving mood and appetite. .
