High Maintenance

High Maintenance is a US webseries created by husband-and-wife team Ben Sinclair and Katja Blichfeld. The series follows a weed delivery man, called The Guy or The Weed Guy and played by Ben Sinclair, as he makes deliveries to his Brooklyn customers, whose neuroses are as diverse as the city itself. Each 5- to 12-minute episode focuses on new characters, all of whom are Sinclair's customers.

The first 6 seasons were released for free on Vimeo between 2012 and 2015. The 7th season will see the light of day on HBO, and therefore on our favorite torrents for France. Most episodes of this offbeat webseries are named after a peripheral character in the story mentioned in the episode, but not seen. From unexpected, offbeat situations to predictable, mundane scenes, all 19 episodes give a glimpse into the daily routines of Sinclair's customers and how they embellish their day.

As proof of the series' effectiveness, Jenji Kohan, creator of Weeds, said High Maintenance was one of his recent favorite discoveries, calling the episodes little gems, «wonderful glimpses into people's lives», «really well conceived» and «exquisite».
