5 cannabis strains that taste like grapes

While the grape harvest takes place from mid-August to mid-September in the vineyards, outdoor cannabis takes advantage of the last rays of September sunshine to slowly enter senescence in October. This almost makes us forget that grape lovers have their counterparts in the world of cannabis: the strains Grape.

Grape Ape

Undoubtedly the best known of the Grape, Grape Ape was named for its tangy grape aromas. With its distinctive purple leaves, this strain relaxes the mind and calms the body, making it the perfect choice for combating insomnia.

Granddaddy Purple

The Granddaddy Purple is one of the classic strains. With its cerebral and physical effects, it’s similar to Grape Ape, with its purple hues. It enjoyed some success in American dispensaries before the arrival of Glue, Cookies, and others Blue Dream.

Zkittlez

Without a doubt, our favorite on the list. A hybrid of Grape Ape and Grapefruit (plus a third secret strain), Zkittlez boasts aromas of grapes, berries, and the tropics, reminiscent of the nearly eponymous candies. The effects are fast and powerful. Best enjoyed in small doses if there’s no couch in sight.

Sour Grape

This blend of Sour Diesel and Granddaddy Purple will tantalize the taste buds of those who love a tangy flavor. Sour Grape will leave you feeling pumped up while giving your brain a boost of energy. The initial taste is grape-forward, while a tart, skunky finish rounds out the flavor profile.

Grape Kush

The breeder of the Blueberry, DJ Short, has also put his talents to work on the Grape by creating Grape Kush, a hybrid with sharp, fruity aromas. It’s quite euphoric while still relaxing the body.
