Flowermate Aura test
The Aura from Flowermate is the brand's latest addition. With its pen-like design, it claims to rival the performance of top-of-the-line vaporizers at an affordable price. Here's what we thought of it.
The Flowermate Aura's Design
The Flowermate Aura is a portable induction vaporizer. It's larger than the GPro, it’s also wider, which allows it to incorporate an LED screen that displays the vaporizer’s temperature and battery level. The mouthpiece can be removed to reveal the heating chamber. It features a protective screen that prevents dry herb from being drawn up during inhalation. The heating chamber can be used with concentrates thanks to the two chambers that come standard with the Aura, making it a very well-equipped vaporizer.

The Flowermate Aura and Its Accessories
Flowermate Aura Features
The Flowermate Aura comes with:
- 5 steel protection grids
- 1 fluid chamber
- 1 wax room
- 1 cleaning brush
- 1 stick for depositing concentrates in the chamber
- 1 USB charger
The vaporizer can be adjusted to the nearest degree between 40 and 230°. It heats up quickly, and the battery charges quickly as well. However, there’s no way to adjust the time before the vaporizer automatically turns off (5 minutes). Since it heats up quickly, this isn’t really a major drawback.
How to Use the Flowermate Aura
The Flowermate Aura It turns on after pressing the center button five times. The screen will display a small icon when the vaporizer reaches the desired temperature. You can actually change the temperature while the vaporizer is heating up, which is pretty convenient.
The protective grille in the mouthpiece is easy to remove and replace. The mouthpiece, however, remains the vaporizer’s weak point based on our tests. It comes off easily—perhaps a little too easily: it popped open in our jacket pocket. We also found the vaporizer heating up in our pocket, even though it normally takes five presses to turn it on.
When in use, the vapor is pleasant but not very abundant. The flavors are well preserved, though we’ve seen better. A major plus: air doesn’t circulate through the electronic components. The experience of vaporization and inhalation is therefore as healthy as possible.
Flowermate Aura Review
We like:
- the unique look and packaging
- the option to use herbs, oil, and wax
- temperature control
We don't like :
- The mouthpiece comes off too easily
- inability to set the time before the vapo switches off
Verdict:
We award a 6/10 The Flowermate Aura. Its many features offer real added value, but we were very disappointed with the mouthpiece. Its affordable price, however, could be a deciding factor.
