The year 2023 will be a hectic one, full of cannabic events in Europe and beyond. Here is the calendar of cannabis events for 2023. All precise dates have not yet been announced and will be updated. This list is not exhaustive, but includes the main events.

January 2023

Lift Expo

Lift Expo is one of Canada's biggest cannabis fairs. Bringing together amateurs and professionals alike, it takes place in Vancouver from January 13 to 14. If you can't attend, you can make it up to Toronto from June 1-3, 2023, or San Francisco from August 2-4, 2023.

Athens Cannabis Expo

From January 10 to 12, 2020, Athens hosts the second edition of the Greek International Fair for industrial, medical and recreational applications of hemp and cannabis. It will showcase product innovations in the cannabis sector.

Future Cannabis Strategies Europe

This event aims to bring together European industry leaders who deal directly with consumers. This includes categories such as CBD products, beverages, cosmetics and nutrients etc. The aim is to establish together, over two days of discussion, the direction of the industry, consumer trends, the evolution of the legal context and thus identify existing opportunities on the European market. The event will take place in London on January 25 and 26.

February 2023

Canapa Mundi from Rome

The 8th edition of the Rome Hemp and Cannabis Fair will be held from February 17 to 19, 2023. It has been bringing together European hemp professionals (growing tools, seed suppliers, accessories) since 2015, and is growing in importance every year.

Cannacon

One of the biggest events for cannabis-related products, services and ideas, Cannacon usually attracts over 11,000 visitors. This year, the show is divided into 3 events and begins its tour in Massachusetts (Biloxi) on February 24 and 25.

He then continued on to Oklahoma City (March 31-April 1), Albuquerque (May 19-20), Long Beach (August 4-5) and Detroit (October 6-7).

International Cannabis Business Conference

The International Cannabis Business Conference (ICBC) brings together cannabis industry experts from around the world in Barcelona on March 9, 2023. Aimed at all cannabis professions (growers, dispensary managers, cannabis-related businesses, community activists), participants will discover tools for developing their businesses and changing cannabis laws.

ICBC will also be present in Berlin on June 29 and 30.

Spannabis from Barcelona

Surely the most eagerly awaited event in the Spanish cannabis world, the 19th edition of Spannabis will take place from March 10 to 12 in Barcelona. The show will feature cannabis-related exhibitors of all kinds: cultivation tools, consumer accessories, clothing brands, seeds and other solutions for testing cannabis quality.

April 2023

4.20 Hemp Fest 2023 Milano

From March 31 to April 2, the 4.20 Hemp Fest 2023 will be held in Milan. Over the years, the 4.20 Hemp Fest has become a benchmark event for the cannabis industry in Italy and Europe in general. At the last edition, it attracted an audience of over 15,000.

Cannabis Science Conference

This conference, as its name suggests, focuses on the science of cannabis. It brings together experts from the industry and ancillary industries such as testing labs, scientific researchers, healthcare professionals, as well as policy-makers and entrepreneurs of all kinds. It will be held in Portland from April 19 to 21. It attracts thousands of participants each time.

Indica Sativa Trade de Bologna

The seventh edition of the Indica Sativa Trade will take place from April 14 to 16 in Bologna. The event brings together industrial hemp professionals, seed growers and associations to discuss the legal situation of cannabis in Italy. Attendance is estimated at 25,000 visitors.

National Cannabis Festival

Created in 2015 by a group of enthusiasts to celebrate the legalization of cannabis in Washington DC and elsewhere in the US, the National Cannabis Festival has managed to make a name for itself. It has notably hosted the band Cypress Hill and attracts over 10,000 participants every year. The festival takes place on April 22.

May 2023

Cannabis Europa

Another benchmark event for the European cannabis industry, Cannabis Europa will be held in London, at the Barbican Center, on May 2 and 3. The conference series aims to bring together industry players to facilitate exchange and support the development of the European therapeutic cannabis industry.

Medical Cannabis Fair

The event describes itself as Latin America's largest and most important professional and B2B fair on the medical use of cannabis. It will take place on May 4 and 5, 2023 at São Paulo's Expo Center Norte.

Mardi Grass at Nimbin (Australia)

This peaceful event is organized every year by Australians to support cannabis law reform, celebrate it and educate people about the benefits of the plant. Free and open-air, the event will take place from May 5 to 7, 2023.

La Cannaparade

Like every year now, the French World Cannabis Walk, now known as the Cannaparade, returns in May. Dates to be announced.

Cannatrade

Switzerland too has its own cannabis fair. Since 2001, the Foire Internationale du Chanvre has been welcoming European cannabis enthusiasts. This year, the fair will take place from May 12 to 14, 2023.

Boise Hempfest

An Idaho educational event, Boise Hempfest aims to change Idaho's cannabis laws, which remain extremely restrictive when it comes to cannabis. The event campaigns for the legalization of medical cannabis, the decriminalization of cannabis and the development of industrial hemp. Boise Hempfest will be held on May 13 in Boise, Idaho.

Rast'Art Festival

North Grow Cannabis Expo

This Nordic event returns for its fifth edition. It aims to connect the cannabis and ancillary industries to Scandinavian markets and industry. It takes place in Copenhagen (Denmark) from September 22 to 24.

Montreal Cannabis Expo

The Cannabis Montréal expo is the largest business exhibition for the cannabis sector in Quebec.
