What's the difference between a good CBD seller and a bad CBD seller? The Dijon Public Prosecutor answers
What's the difference between a good CBD seller and a bad CBD seller? A good seller might own a bar and tobacco shop.
In any case, that is the conclusion that forces us to adopt Dijon District Attorney Eric Mathais. After already shutting down a Bestown and a Biokonopia—two stores selling CBD products, including hemp flowers—a bar and tobacco shop was targeted last Monday.
Little Cîteaux, a tobacco shop in central Dijon, was selling CBD cannabis under the CBD25 brand. Like his neighbors who specialize in CBD, the shop owner had his premises raided and was taken into police custody. This is not the first time a tobacco shop has been raided: a shop owner in Vire, Normandy, faced the same treatment for his herbal teas, that had been returned to him after analysis.
Unlike other stores, however, Little Cîteaux will not immediately be subject to the usual charges of drug trafficking and incitement to use drugs, nor will the store be sealed off. The reason cited by Eric Mathais? The shopkeeper’s «good faith.».

And although there is no doubt about the integrity of the tobacco shop owner in question, does that mean the owners of Bestown and Biokonopia acted in bad faith?
The inconsistency in the justice system’s actions suggests a long legal battle ahead for all the entrepreneurs under investigation. After its search in mid-July For example, a CBD store in Bordeaux was able to continue operating by suspending the sale of flowers after the judge ruled that the difference between French law and European law on hemp.
A sign of a repressive debacle? Not yet.
