Iceland: the Pirate Party wants to legalize cannabis for medical use
Alors qu’une proposition de légalisation du cannabis est déjà devant le Parlement islandais, la députée Halldóra Mogensen, présidente du Parti Pirate, a déposé une proposition de légalisation du cannabis médical au Ministre de la Santé selon le média local RÚV.
La proposition entend permettre l’usage et la production de cannabis sous forme d’huile pour un usage médical. Elle cherche aussi à s’appuyer sur l’expérience des autres pays qui autorisent déjà l’usage de cannabis médical pour la mise en place et le fonctionnement de la régulation de l’usage thérapeutique du cannabis.
Le cannabis est aujourd’hui illégal en Islande. L’île est cependant un des plus gros consommateurs au monde de cannabis par habitant, avec 18,3% de consommateurs.
