Cypress Hill releases album and limited edition cannabic goodies

The rap group Cypress Hill, a pioneer in cannabis activism, is now well established in the booming cannabis industry. In 2016, the group had already established a partnership with cannabis producer Bhang. In August this year, B-real, singer and leader of the group, inaugurated the opening of his dispensary, Dr Greenthumbs (named after one of his songs), in Los Angeles.

To promote their new album Elephants on Acid, released on September 28, eight years after their last album, Cypress Hill has included limited edition products in collaboration with cannabis producer Bhang. Executive Director Scott Van Rixel commented: «We are very proud to be working with Bhang-Cypress Hill. We have succeeded in obtaining products that reflect the team's identity and vision».

A full head

The first item is a small glass skull and crossbones containing 7.09 grams of cannabis. It contains the varieties Cherry Bomb and Zookies, grown in California, the group's birthplace, at Ember Valley. These varieties are renowned for their quality and are reputed to stimulate the brain areas involved in relaxation, creativity and sensitivity to music.

This is the band's signature, faithful to Chicano culture. (a mixture of States and Latin America): typical Mexican calaverita and the taste of good, consciousness-raising weed. Thanks to this small sample of magic weed specially chosen by the crew, fans will be able to listen with another ear to the band's new sounds and enjoy the visual effects of the video for crazy in a different light. The object also appears in the song's video clip.

Smoking sound

The second product consists of a packet supposed to contain a cassette, but in which there are actually six joints, each weighing 0.6 grams. The weed is called Mendo Breatch, a highly potent variety of indica medical cannabis that provides a powerful stone particularly strong.

The band has always blended its taste for weed with its musical creation, seeing them as two parts of the same whole that lifts consciousness to new horizons.
