Crypto: Snoop Dogg launches his «Decentralized Dogg» NFTs.
Snoop Dogg has launched his first non-fungible token (NFT), «Decentralized Dogg», in collaboration with digital artist Coldie.
The NFT was launched on the SuperRare marketplace, specialized in exclusive pieces, on Monday November 29 as part of a portrait series by Decentral Eyes. The auction ran until Friday December 3. The auction was won by user 888thevault with a bid of 188.8 Ethereum (ETH) or around €740,000 at today's price.
The NFT features a 3D stereoscopic collage of 10 different portraits of the musician at different stages of his artistic development, and a short piece of music with NFT-themed lyrics.

Nick Adler, Snoop Dogg's partner in innovation and investment, said this first NFT was just «the beginning of Snoop's work in the NFT and art space».
Adler said that, given NFT's acceptance, Snoop would be «totally open to future collaborations with Coldie or other iconic NFT artists».
In a recent interview on NFT, Snoop Dogg said declared «This technology has inspired me to rethink how I work and how I get my art out into the world.» On September 21, Snoop Dogg announced that he had used a pseudonym to hide under the name «Cozomo de’ Medici», an NFT influencer on Twitter. The wallet associated with the account has amassed an NFT collection worth over $17 million, including nine CryptoPunks and a number of cannabis-themed tokens.
