Siberië
The Siberië Coffee Shop is located not far from Amsterdam Central Station (Centraal Station), in one of the city’s most pleasant neighborhoods. Founded in 1986, Siberië is a small, cozy coffee shop frequented mainly by locals.
Siberië is just like its staff: simple and pleasant. It often hosts art and photography exhibitions, concerts, and even DJ sets. The music played here is usually quite niche, ranging from rock to electronic. You can connect to their Wi-Fi and enjoy the board games they provide. The atmosphere is ultimately relaxed and welcoming.
In the summer, Siberië sets up small tables outside so you can enjoy your drink or spliff and the neighborhood’s peaceful atmosphere.
Siberië Coffee Shop Menu
No frills on the Siberië menu. It offers some of the cheapest outdoor-grown weed in the city (between 4 and 7.5€ per gram), as well as more expensive indoor strains. The Strawberry Mango Haze (€17 per gram for 19.2% of THC) is definitely worth trying.
As for hash, there’s a selection of Indica and Sativa hash, with prices ranging from €4 for a ketama to €17.50 for pollen. Here, too, the prices are reasonable and the quality is top-notch.
The menu is very well designed and not only describes the effects you can expect from each type of weed and hash, but also lists the THC and CBD percentages. Of particular note here is Red Angel, a cannabis strain containing 8.5% of THC and 9.6% of CBD (€7.50 per gram). Weed strains with high CBD levels are still fairly rare in Amsterdam, so it was a pleasant surprise to find one here. Siberië also occasionally carries CBD Compassion (5.3% THC and CBD). Sativa hashes, on the other hand, are described by their THCV content.
If you're a little tired of the usual coffee shops and are looking for a unique coffee spot with a great selection of products, then you've found the perfect place.
