1st Hulp

The coffeeshop 1e Hulp («premiers secours» in French) is well worth a visit on the Rozengracht, just a stone's throw from the Jordaan district. The coffeeshop is run by two friends who are committed to the quality of their products and a friendly welcome for customers.

In addition to their fine selection of smoking products, they serve delicious Moroccan tea and good coffee. The coffee shop has 3 rooms with oriental ambiences, and offers a full menu of sativa and indica weed (Strawberry and Super Silver Sour Diesel, Tangie, Casey Jones, LA Kush, etc.) and hashish (ketema, ice-olator, temple ball, etc.). For different experiences, pre-rolled joints are on sale, alongside homemade space cakes. Prices range from €10 to €15 a gram for weed, rising to over €30 for some hash.

Not shown on the menu, the 1st Hulp is not the only place where you can buy Moonrock in Amsterdam, But at least you'll know it's there. Just ask the budtender if they have any in stock, and you can buy your gram of Moonrock for 40€.

The 1st Hulp is a little outside the center. If you're feeling a little thirsty, we recommend the nearby Waterkant bar, especially at dusk. You can enjoy the ballet of boats docking at the bar and order a drink, while smoking a zdar outside.

The 1st Hulp is quite well known to the French. So your tablemates are likely to speak the language of Molière. Which won't change the taste of your joints. Bangs are also available for amateurs.
