Prix d'Ami
The coffeeshop Prix d'Ami is without doubt Amsterdam's largest coffeeshop. Spread over 3 floors, Prix d'Ami can accommodate up to 500 people. In addition to billiards tables and flat-screen TVs broadcasting sports programs, DJs mix every weekend. The coffee bar also doubles as a restaurant, serving burgers, milkshakes and more.
Le Prix d'Ami will primarily delight visitors looking for a place to party. If you're looking for a quiet place to chill out, we recommend you move on to more human-scale coffeeshops 🙂
Prix d'Ami coffeeshop menu
The Prix d'Ami menu is quite extensive, and the quality of the weed rather variable. The white widow was disappointing, to say the least. You can make up for it with Master Kush or Pineapple Express. Prices are in line with those in Amsterdam, between €9 and €16 a gram.
On the hash front, prices are more attractive than in most coffees. You'll find Moroccan hash at €6.50 to €9 a gram, with THC levels ranging from 30 to 40%. And Nepalese or Afghan black hash at €20 a gram, with THC levels approaching 40%, and 30% in CBD.
Overall, you'll find the typical Amsterdam strains. The bonus point we'd give them is the lab-tested THC and CBD content on their products. This should be the norm in coffees, but it's all too rare at the moment.
The Prix d'Ami is ultimately a big coffee. The atmosphere will please some and put off others. Personally, for a pool table, we wouldn't say no 🙂
