Green House Namaste
The Green House Namaste Coffee Shop is a little gem on the Amstel, very comfortable and unassuming, perfect for chiller in a peaceful atmosphere. Located in the heart of Amsterdam, on Waterlooplein, Green House Namaste is the smallest of Amsterdam’s four Green House coffee shops. It features a cozy interior with Buddhist and psychedelic influences, high-quality products, and a welcoming and friendly staff.
Once you’ve passed through the turnstile at the entrance, you’ll find the counter on your right. In front of you is a large corner sofa that can seat about twenty people. When the weather is nice, a small patio is set up in front of the coffee shop, offering a beautiful view of the Amstel River. The music ranges from hip-hop to jazz.
Green House Namaste Coffeeshop Menu
Prices at Green House locations are slightly higher than at other coffeeshops in Amsterdam, but you’ll get your money’s worth. They offer many Cannabis Cup winners, as well as the strains sold by the Green House seed bank.
As for weed, you’ll have a hard time finding strains for less than €12, excluding sales. The menu features a selection of organic strains (Cheese, Super Critical, Pure Kush, etc.), Haze strains, and Green House specialties (Diamond Girl—so named for the THC crystals that glisten on the buds—Jack Herer, etc.).
For hashish, priced from 8 to 18€ per gram, you’ll find «polm» (pressed and heated kief, Moroccan-style) and «cannabis cream.» More expensive options include temple balls and ice water hash at 60€ per gram, as well as Malana cream (20€ per gram).
Green House Namaste sometimes has prices that are slightly lower than those at other stores in the chain. That’s why we’d recommend visiting this one—plus, you can enjoy the pleasant interior or the patio when the weather is nice.
