Discover the Platinum Cup 2026 results

The Platinum CBD Cup held its fourth edition on March 28, 2026, at L’Agronaute in Nantes, on the sidelines of the Cann’Agri Expo 2026.

Having become the premier competition for French CBD hemp producers in just a few years, this year’s event brought together 45 participants across five categories: Outdoor Flowers, Greenhouse Flowers, Indoor Flowers, Dry Hash, and Ice-O-Lator. The products are evaluated in a blind tasting by a panel of professionals—including yours truly in the hash category—and by a public jury through tasting packs sold prior to the event.

And here are the results of the 2026 Platinum Cup!

CBD Outdoor flowers

🥇 – Onion Patch by Black Goat Farmz
🥈 – Sweet Cream by Alpine Cali
🥉 – Breizh Tart by Kanab’Yo

Black Goat Farmz immediately established itself as the farm to watch in this edition: their “Onion Patch” took gold in the Outdoor category and returned to the podium in the Ice-O-Lator category—a rare double victory that confirms their mastery of genetics from the field to extraction. Alpine Cali and Kanab’Yo, two regulars on the French scene, round out a podium that comes as no surprise to connoisseurs.

GreenHouse CBD Flowers

🥇 – Wasabi by CBD in Provence
🥈 – The Charlotte by IDA Farm
🥉 – Sunrise Sorbet by HERA CBD

The Greenhouse category confirms the rising influence of producers from the south: CBD en Provence has made its mark with Wasabi, a strain with a distinctive aromatic profile that clearly won over the professional jury. IDA Farm and HERA CBD round out the top three, highlighting the geographic diversity of the participants.

🥈 – Legendary by LOUD
🥉 – Blue Dory by The Lady of Caro

Happy Pousse took home the Indoor gold, just like last year, but this time with my Sweet Paradis, ahead of LOUD and its Legendary, a sure bet in the French premium market. La Dame de Caro’s bronze-medal finish underscores the growing pool of producers capable of competing at the highest level.

Hash Dry

🥈 – Strawberry Fritter x Orange Fritter by BzHash Maker
🥉 – Bubba Kush x Limon by BzHash Maker

Le Spliff Français, already a winner in 2025, took first place in the Dry Hash category with Dark Vador, while BzHash Maker achieved a remarkable silver-bronze double. This result confirms the emergence of a French extraction scene that now rivals that of Spanish and Italian producers.

Ice-O-Lator

Black Goat Farmz comes full circle with a second gold medal in the Ice-O-Lator category, once again with their “Onion Patch.” BzHash Maker makes another appearance on the podium, finishing this 2026 edition as the producer with the most awards among the winners.

The public jury has reached its verdict: while industry professionals and the general public agree on several clear favorites, a few notable differences reveal differing perspectives between the two juries.

Black Goat Farmz has won unanimous acclaim: their “Onion Patch” has made a strong impression on both the public and industry professionals, confirming that this isn’t just a jury’s choice but a product that resonates with everyone. On the other hand, the public overwhelmingly chose IDA Farm’s La Charlotte for the silver medal—a strain that professionals had crowned in the Greenhouse category—and propelled CBD en Provence’s Grapefruit onto the podium, at the expense of Kanab’Yo.

This is where the difference between the two juries is most striking. While the professionals awarded the prize to Wasabi, the public ranked IDA Farm’s La Charlotte first—a strain that is clearly more accessible and appealing to the general public in terms of its aromatic profile. CBD en Provence still took silver with Wasabi, and Les Chanvriers Normands made their debut on the podium with bronze for Blood Orange, a pleasant surprise for this Normandy-based producer.

Indoor Flowers

🥈 – Legendary by LOUD
🥉 – Blue Dory by The Lady of Caro

The public jury completely shook up the professional podium. Happy Pousse and their Sweet Paradis were replaced by Jungle House’s Angel Cake, which was crowned the public’s gold medalist—a variety with a profile that is likely more indulgent and immediately appealing. LOUD and La Dame de Caro remained in the running, confirming their consistency across both juries.

Total consensus among experts and the public: Dark Vador from Spliff Français is the undisputed gold medalist. Only the silver and bronze rankings are reversed for BzHash Maker, with Bubba Kush x Limon favored by the public over Strawberry Fritter x Orange Fritter. A BzHash Maker one-two finish that remains unchanged in both rankings.

Hash Ice-O-Lator

🥉 – The Nest’Hash by La Ferme 710 Garden

A strong new consensus has emerged at Black Goat Farmz: their “Onion Patch” achieved the same double win—outdoor and ICO—among the public jury as it did among the pros. BzHash Maker confirmed its silver medal finish. The surprise comes from La Ferme 710 Garden, which took the public bronze with Le Nest’Hash—which didn’t make the professional podium—signaling a producer to watch for future editions.
