Spannabis 2025 will be the last in Barcelona
Spannabis, one of Europe's leading cannabis trade fairs, has announced that its March 2025 issue would be the last to be held in Barcelona.
This event, which attracts tens of thousands of people from all over the world, has been held in Barcelona since its creation in 2002.
The event's organizers announced today that the site hosting the event, the Fira de Cornella, will be demolished in 2026, and that there is no suitable alternative in the Catalan capital.
Barcelona has become a popular destination for trade fair visitors and industry members alike, thanks in part to its cannabic scene and Social Clubs.
The announcement was made by Spannabis in an e-mail sent to exhibitors on March 6. In this e-mail, the organizers explain that they have no access to any venue in Barcelona or the surrounding area that meets the necessary requirements for staging the event. Spannabis 2026 will therefore be held at the Bilbao Exhibition Center (BEC) in northern Spain.
The organizers of Spannabis have already organized a scaled-down version of their event. event in Bilbao in 2024.
