Spannabis will also be held in Bilbao in September 2024
In September 2024, Bilbao will welcome enthusiasts and industry professionals to a special edition of Spannabis, consolidating Spain's position as a key epicenter of the European cannabis industry.
Europe's leading cannabis fair will also be held in Barcelona in March (15-17), as usual.
A new chapter: Spannabis Bilbao
The Feria del Cáñamo, which welcomes over 70,000 participants, has ambitious plans for 2024. In addition to the already traditional Barcelona event in March, Spannabis Bilbao will be inaugurated in September, with the hope of replicating the same success in the Basque capital.
After Expogrow to be discontinued in 2023, the last major cannabis event in the Basque Country, Spannabis seized the opportunity to fill the void.
The organizers chose Bilbao for a number of reasons, including the presence of a growing cannabis community and a culture open to consumption. In addition, Bilbao, with its high gross domestic product, offers an optimal infrastructure for major events. The city is also an icon of architectural design.
Spannabis Bilbao will be held at the Bilbao exhibition center, covering 10,000 m² of indoor space and a further 2,000 m² outdoors for stages and catering areas. The event will take place on September 20, 21 and 22, 2024.
In addition to booths and exhibitors, attendees will be able to access expert lectures and learn about new developments in the sector. Tickets are available online and at the exhibition center box offices.
An area will be dedicated exclusively to hemp and CBD, where attendees can learn about the benefits of these natural products from experts.
As a prelude to the Bilbao event, Spannabis Barcelona, which serves as both inspiration and model, has everything planned for its March 2024 edition. With 280 international exhibitors and the presence of World Cannabis Conferences Now in its 12th year, it promises to be a benchmark event once again. What's more, the Spannabis Champions Cup will judge the traditional categories of cannabis products.
