A patent for diversified recipes
From now on, the company's researchers will be able to work on dosages between different cannabinoids by exploiting cannabis itself. The patent issued by the US Patent and Trademark Office will enable the company to use all existing cannabinoids, including THC.
Immediately, AXIM brought out a chewing gum containing as much CBD than THC for clinical trials, the Medchew RX. It will be used to treat muscular pain and multiple sclerosis. AXIM CEO Georges Anastassov comments:
«This new patent is crucial for our company, as it provides us with intellectual property protection. We will now be able to include the plant's 85 cannabinoids in our recipes. Now that we have the patent, we're concentrating on finding formulas to treat different and specific symptoms that are difficult to treat conventionally.»
According to him, future recipes will attempt to treat or lessen the effects of Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease. The company is currently working on a project involving chewing gum with a high dosage of CBG. This miracle cannabinoid is said to reduce paranoia and anxiety, as well as cancerous tumors.
The market for cannabis-infused chewing gum is estimated at $4.8 billion if clinical trials of the new recipes are successful.
