Miley Cyrus is back to smoking weed, but only «once in a while»
The 26-year-old American star, a habitual provocateur, claimed to smoke a lot and posted on social networks doing so. She even created a buzz by lighting a joint on stage at MTV European Music Awards.
Miley did however stopped consuming after a form of self-questioning about his unbridled lifestyle.
Today, and after a year of abstinence, Miley Cyrus has confessed, in an interview with The Sun on the occasion of her visit to the UK, had resumed her use of cannabis, but in small doses and from time to time, and partly because of her mother: «My mother got me back into it,» she declared.
Like mother, like daughter
According to her, her mother, actress Trish Cyrus, smokes a lot of cannabis, which would obviously have tempted the singer to take up weed again. On the other hand, she says she no longer smokes when she's working, as she considers that it's not an optimal working state and prefers to «keep a clear head»: «When I'm working, I don't think I'm functioning at my best, at my smartest and at my highest capacity to be attentive and present, so I don't smoke when I'm working anymore». She did, however, admit to smoking a few lattes sometimes with her collaborator Mark Ronson, with whom she recently released a featuring: “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart.”
Interviewed by Andy Cohen on his Radio Andy show on SiriusXM, she confirms that she's started smoking again «from time to time» and that it's because of her mother: «My mother will kill me, but yes, she smokes a lot of weed. The truth is, she probably doesn't care if I say so. She said to me recently, «I want to open a cannabis business, so you'll get me started. I'll get you involved, don't worry». She makes candles... I think she should stick to candles,» joked Miley.
