This product was created in collaboration with Foria, a company specializing in the integration of cannabinoids in products intended for sexual or genital use. Foria also sells suppositories, which appear to be similar to the Boof product but are marketed to women to provide «soothing effects that relieve tension» and reduce menstrual cramps.

Dr. Evan Goldstein, an anal surgeon, explains to Out that CBD and sex «go hand in hand.».

«CBD is a great addition to anal play. The good thing is that there are lots of ways to incorporate it,» said Dr. Goldstein. «There are vape pen or dyes, which allow people to inhale or ingest CBD for systemic effects.
