Linx Gaia vaporizer test
The Linx GAIA is a new vaporizer from Linx Vapor, a company known for producing high-quality vaporizers. What sets the GAIA apart is that it is the first dry herb vaporizer with a quartz heating chamber.
Linx Gaia Features
The Linx GAIA comes with:
- the vaporizer
- A glass mouthpiece
- A magnetic cover for the mouthpiece
- A small magnetic cleaning tool
- A brush
- Spare grilles
- A USB cable
- The User Manual
The Gaia has an OLED screen that displays the temperature and battery level. It has two buttons to control the heating temperature and one button to turn it on and off.
Although its design isn't as sleek as that of the top-of-the-line vaporizers, Pax, DaVinci IQ, or Firefly Not to mention, it’s fairly discreet and small enough to be a truly portable vaporizer. Its aluminum and chrome finish will appeal to some more than others, but its 146g weight is a plus when you’re carrying it around.
The opening of the Linx GAIA Filling is done from the top, under the mouthpiece. Simply unscrew the glass mouthpiece to reveal the heating chamber. Inside the mouthpiece, you can see where the protective screen is located, which prevents plant material from being drawn up during inhalation. Once filled, replace the mouthpiece and press the Power button 5 times.
You can then use the small buttons to select a temperature between 93 and 220°C. To switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius, press and hold the Power button and the + button. Then press and hold the Power button to start heating. Once the selected temperature is reached, you can begin vaporizing.
Linx Gaia Debrief
What are your thoughts on the Linx Gaia? It features high-quality materials, including a glass mouthpiece on one end and a quartz heating chamber. Inhalation is smooth and delivers a vapor rich in flavor, whether you take small or large puffs.
The heating process itself takes a little time, which also helps the battery last longer than in more expensive vapes.
At €169, it's still affordable for a vaporizer of this quality and is ideal for combining both power and discretion.
On the downside, the main drawbacks are the design, which is fairly simple, and the warranty, which is only for one year.
