Testing the AirVape X vaporizer
If you're looking for a high-quality vaporizer without breaking the bank, the AirVape X might be the right choice for you. Technically, it's a vaporizer for dried herbs, but small cartridges also allow you to vaporize concentrates.
AirVape X Features
The AirVape X comes with:
- The spray bottle
- Concentrate cartridges
- Spare grilles
- A cleaning brush and a concentrate tong
- A USB cable
- The User Manual
The heating chamber of the AirVape X is located beneath the magnetic spout. It is made of ceramic, a material chosen for its ability to retain heat and flavors well.
To turn on the AirVape X, press the main button three times. The screen will then display the selected temperature, and the vaporizer will start heating up immediately. You can adjust the selected temperature using the + and - buttons, and switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius by pressing the Power button and the minus button.
When the vaporizer reaches the selected temperature, it will vibrate and a 3-minute countdown will begin. At the end of those 3 minutes, the vaporizer will turn off.
AirVape X Review
In terms of design, the AirVape is very slim and weighs only 90 grams. It looks quite elegant in black, and the LED screen is neatly integrated. It can sometimes be difficult to read in bright light, which is a bit of a drawback.
The battery doesn't last very long—about 1 hour—and takes roughly the same amount of time to charge. However, it heats up quickly, in less than 20 seconds.
Our overall impression is that this is a very attractive vaporizer that works well with dried herbs, though it’s not exactly revolutionary. When it comes to concentrates, we’d recommend opting for other vaporizers to get the most out of the experience.
On the other hand, it's very small and unobtrusive, and the vapor is very pleasant. At €149, the AirVape X is an attractive entry-level option.
