The guide to CBD Shops in Paris and the Ile-de-France region!
Since November 20, 2020, and the CJEU ruling (Kannavape ruling), there has been a surge in the number of stores opening across France—particularly in Paris and the Île-de-France region—that sell cannabidiol-based products. To help navigate this «jungle,» the website CBD in Paris was created to make it easier for consumers to find what they're looking for by rating shops that meet quality and customer service standards, and by providing details on the products offered in each store (flowers, resins, oils, cosmetics, CBD for pets, etc.)
How does CBD In Paris work?
Created by two users passionate about CBD, along with CBD reporters, the team visits various stores in Paris and the Île-de-France region to make purchases. During their visits, they carefully assess the store environment, the products offered, the staff’s hospitality and knowledge, and finally, the quality of the products. These visits are sometimes conducted anonymously (as mystery shoppers) to ensure an unbiased, realistic assessment of the store’s customer service.
Since the beginning of 2021, numerous CBD shops have opened throughout France. Among these stores, you’ll find high-quality products, of course, but also hemp flowers that have been processed, re-terpenized, or had CBD added via spray (yuck!). For example, some sublingual oils sold as “full-spectrum” oils are actually composed solely of CBD isolate. Another example is the CBD concentrations advertised by certain retailers, who sometimes claim levels of 16, 17%, or even 20%, even though this is technically impossible for flowers with a THC content below 0.2% (a ratio of 1 to 20, or 30 at most).
The CBD In Paris website specifically set out to test the products it sells—without sugarcoating anything—to give an honest rating to shops that meet quality standards, unlike the Google reviews for some shops, which are sometimes heavily manipulated… (1 review = 0.5 or 1 gram free).
Find a CBD shop near you!
CBD In Paris also offers a platform that saves you a significant amount of time when searching for a store, no matter where you are in the Île-de-France region. Using geolocation, you can find the store closest to your location with just one click. You can then select the store that best matches your search criteria—whether it’s the one with the highest rating or the one that carries the product you’re looking for.
Each listing includes details about the store, including all the items sold, opening hours, and the phone number, as well as the editorial team’s review of the products’ quality :=)
Become a CBD Reporter!
The site also gives you the chance to check out new stores! Is a store not listed yet? Would you like to visit it? Or maybe your own newly opened and fully stocked CBD store isn’t on the site yet? Send a message to the team through the site, and they’ll walk you through the entire process. Of course, a certain level of knowledge is required to participate in the Reporter program :=)
