2pac biopic in cinemas November 11
Some artists have marked a generation and created a legend around their character. In rap, the legend is 2pac Shakur.
Twenty years after his death, the posthumous biopic of rapper 2pac will be released in cinemas in November. The West Coast rapper will thus have the right, along with his rival Notorious BIG, to his autobiographical film.
Titled after one of his biggest hits, «All eyez on me», the film looks back on the California rapper's short, dense life. The character will be played by Demetrius Shipp Jr. Actor Jamal Woolard will play the role of the late Notorious Big.
2pac grew up in New York in a rather tense atmosphere. His mother, stepfather and godfather were members of the Black Panthers, a far-left African-American group.
