How high 2 scheduled for 2018
While the How high 2 project has been in the works for several years, Redman confirmed this week that the script for the film How high 2 was over.
At a Canadian cannabis event, Redman confirmed the filming of How high 2 by the end of 2017, or even early 2018. The rapping duo were performing at a nightclub for the Canadian Fire Bowl, and Redman, a big blunt to the mouth, announced that the script for How high 2 was complete.
According to the rapper, filming is due to start in September. Interviewed by CannabislifeNetwork, he confides, «Look, if it were up to me, How high 2 would have been released in 2004. We didn't decide, the project wasn't launched for political reasons.»
Jamal and Silas, now in their forties, will surely have left the Harvard benches behind them, but Redman hasn't let any hints of the script slip. «The script is finished, and we should start shooting by September. In the meantime, we're working on other projects with Meth.» The duo are due to release their third album together, Blackout 3, and work on the film's soundtrack. Let's hope the soundtrack is as powerful as that of the first opus.
The two rappers have relaunched stoner films in the 2000s. Several classics followed, including Harold and Kumar and Seth Rogen's Délire Express.
Our 3 favorite quotes from the first opus
«Got any paper? Got any Tos-ma?» followed by «I figure if I rip my head off, I'll rip the test off, so I'll get killer grades».»
«I need Moneyyy»
«Get it!» followed closely by «with all due respect m'sieur, go fuck yourself».
