Agrican makes hemp rhyme with excellence
In the heart of the Weppes region, just 20 minutes from Lille, we've settled in Agrican, a cooperative of farmers and hemp growers dedicated to creating a French center of excellence in legal cannabinoids.
From the outside, there's nothing to suggest that the company grows 3,000 hemp plants in outdoor and 10,000 plants in greenhouses. The latter benefit from top-of-the-range installations whose lighting support and CO2 or heating supply reproduce the growth cycles and enable 3 to 4 harvests per year. Agrican currently harvests 2 tonnes of flowers a year, using an organic, responsible and transparent cultivation method.
Multi-faceted expertise
Agrican obviously takes great care in the cultivation of hemp plants. The plant's healthy growth is reflected in fine in harvesting and cannabinoid levels. Once detached from their stems, the flowers undergo slow, controlled drying to perfect their organoleptic and visual qualities, before being refined to develop their full potential.
The result is flowers that are certainly airy for those grown outdoors - hemp is hemp - but olfactively interesting, with natural CBD levels of between 5 and 10%. Our tasting notes
- Orange Bud (outdoor), whose orange flavours form a strong olfactory reminder
- the Chocolope (greenhouse), which moves between sweetness and coffee
- Orange Sorbet (greenhouse) with its pretty flowers containing 14.9% of CBD, certificate to back it up!
- Gelato (outdoor), with its purplish appearance and small buds, develops 10.9% of CBD and powerful scents of spices and pine.
However, Agrican's agricultural expertise is not limited to quality hemp cultivation. Anything that isn't sold as flowers to specialized shops or private individuals will be crushed into biomass for extraction by their partner, Agrican. Green Exchange Lab. This enables them to offer French CBD extracts, in crude oil, The range extends to the manufacture of finished products such as CBD or CBG oils, vape pens and cosmetics, either under their own brand name or for their distribution network.
