Take part in the international Global Drug Survey: special edition COVID-19
The coronavirus pandemic has turned people's habits upside down. From physical isolation to travel bans, the impact on everyone's life has been felt differently from one individual to another and from one country to another. This special edition of the Global Drug Survey (GDS), one of the world's largest drug surveys, with 130,000 participants in over 20 countries each year, looks at how COVID-19 has changed your life situation, your interpersonal relationships, and your mental health.
The survey will take 10 to 15 minutes to complete if you've recently consumed alcohol, and a little longer if you've used other drugs.
The survey will ask you about changes in your use of alcohol and other drugs since COVID-19, and about changes in drug markets and access to services in your country.
Finally, the study will offer you the chance to join a GDS cohort by answering a questionnaire every 30 days to keep up to date with changes in your consumption in this very special situation we're currently experiencing. You can take part in the survey until mid-June, after which it will be too late!
The survey is being carried out by an international team under the direction of Prof. Adam Winstock, and the French survey coordinator is Marie Jauffret-Roustide, a sociologist at Inserm.
