Brigitte Macron grows hemp at the Elysée Palace
The secret was well-kept, but the keen eye of one of our readers eventually let the cat out of the bag. Brigitte Macron, a great lover of roses, took advantage of the creation of a vegetable garden at the Élysée Palace to plant a few hemp seeds for her kitchen.
When we contacted them, the press office confirmed and clarified that the hemp was used to make edible oil for the personal use of the President and his wife. We are publishing their response below.
