The French National Assembly wants your opinion on recreational cannabis
As part of the current Mission d'Informations sur les usages du cannabis, The French National Assembly has launched a public consultation on the use of «recreational» cannabis.
From January 13 to February 28, 2021, online questionnaire proposes 5 or 6 questions designed to gain a better understanding of how the French perceive cannabis and how they see the future of public policy in this area.
At the same time, the Mission, led by Caroline Janvier on the subject of recreational cannabis, will take stock of public policies in terms of prevention and repression of cannabis trafficking and use, offer an overview of foreign experiences with legalization or decriminalization, and contribute to a debate on possible changes to the French regulatory framework for this substance.
The citizens' consultation will thus help inform the Mission d'Information, and will be taken into account in determining the proposals it will make in its report.
The questionnaire is available here.
