2018 will be packed with cannabis-related events in Europe and beyond. So here is the 2018 Cannabis Events Calendar. Not all dates have been announced yet. We will therefore update the events as the year progresses.
January 2018
Athens Cannabis Expo 2018
From January 12 to 14, 2018, Athens will host the country’s first international trade show focused on the industrial, medical, and recreational applications of hemp and cannabis.

Lift Expo
Lift Expo is probably Canada's largest cannabis trade show. Bringing together enthusiasts and professionals alike, it will take place this year in Vancouver on January 13 and 14.

THC Valencia Cannabis Cup
The THC Valencia Cannabis Cup will take place in Valencia on January 27. Organized by the THC Valencia association, the event will award prizes for the best indoor and outdoor cannabis strains and extracts (BHO, hash, rosin), and will also feature several concerts.

February 2018
Women Grow
On February 1 and 2, 2018, women in the cannabis industry will gather in Denver, Colorado, to share their experiences and expand their networks. This is a B2B trade show, given the ticket price of 700$.

International Cannabis Business Conference
The International Cannabis Business Conference (ICBC) will bring together cannabis industry experts from around the world in San Francisco on February 1 and 2, 2018. Designed for professionals across the cannabis spectrum—from growers and dispensary managers to cannabis-related businesses and advocacy group members—participants will learn about tools to grow their businesses as well as ways to improve and protect cannabis laws.
The ICBC will also be in Berlin from April 11 to 13, 2018, in Vancouver on June 24 and 25, and in Portland on September 27 and 28, 2018.

Cannabis Wedding Expo
For its fourth edition, the Cannabis Wedding Expo will feature three events in Denver (January 28), San Francisco (February 11), and Los Angeles (March 3).
Dozens of exhibitors will be on hand to help visitors with their wedding preparations, with a unique twist: incorporating cannabis into their wedding. Visitors will also be able to smoke on-site in the designated area.

Cannacon
As one of the largest events focused on cannabis products, services, and other cannabis-related ideas, Cannacon typically attracts more than 11,000 visitors. This year, the trade show will take place from February 15 to 17 in Seattle.

Canapa Mundi from Rome
The 4th edition of the Rome Hemp and Cannabis Fair will be held February 16–18 at the Palacavicchi. Bringing together European cannabis professionals (growing equipment, seed suppliers, accessories), the 2018 edition hopes to surpass the 2017 edition, which had already attracted 23,000 visitors over three days.

Expogrow Business Barcelona
On the eve of Spannabis, Expogrow is organizing a B2B meeting on March 8. 350 professionals and 150 companies will gather in Barcelona for an afternoon of direct discussions on current issues surrounding cannabis in Spain and Europe. Several panel discussions are also scheduled.

The 15th edition of Spannabis will take place March 9–11 in Barcelona. The trade show will feature a wide range of exhibitors from all sectors related to cannabis: growing equipment, consumption accessories, clothing brands, and other solutions for testing cannabis quality. The 2017 edition attracted more than 3,000 industry professionals and 34,000 visitors over three days.

Cannatech
Cannatech is the premier event for entrepreneurs in the cannabis science and technology sector, with a particular focus on the medical applications of cannabis and the global regulatory framework. To attend the trade show in Tel Aviv on March 19 and 20, a two-day ticket costs more than 750$. A master class On March 18, it will host small-group lectures led by renowned professionals.
Cannatech will also be held in Sydney and London (in October 2017), though no dates have been announced yet.

High Times Cannabis Cup in Jamaica
Jamaica will host the High Times Cannabis Cup from March 1 to 4. The island had previously hosted a Medical Cannabis Cup in 2015.

International Cannabis Business Conference Berlin
The ICBC in Berlin has become a must-attend event for European entrepreneurs and activists. It also offers potential investors the opportunity to find partners from April 11 to 13, 2018.
Abra Ca Dabs
The event takes place over three days in Adelanto, California. From April 20 to 22, this exhibition will welcome all enthusiasts of concentrates and unique consumption methods.

Boise Hempfest 2018
The Boise Hempfest, an educational event in Idaho, aims to bring about changes to Idaho’s cannabis laws. The event advocates for the legalization of medical cannabis, the decriminalization of cannabis, and the development of industrial hemp. The Boise Hempfest will be held on April 14 in Boise, Idaho.

Canna Trade
Switzerland also has its own cannabis expo. Since 2001, the International Hemp Fair has been welcoming European enthusiasts. This year, the fair will take place from April 27 to 29, 2018. It will also be an opportunity to vote for the best weed with less than 1% of THC grown in 2017 during the Canna Swiss Cup.

May 2018
Global March for Cannabis
Building on the success of the 2017 Global Cannabis March, the march is back this year stronger than ever.
The Cannaparade will take place on May 12 in Paris and Lyon, and on May 5 in other cities across the country.

Spring Marijuana Business Conference and Expo
Billed as the oldest cannabis trade show in the United States, this event will feature 200 booths and 50 speakers for its conferences, taking place May 9–11 in New Orleans. The expo will also take place August 14–16 in Toronto and November 14–16 in Las Vegas. A very business-oriented conference.

Expocañamo in Seville
From May 11 to 13, 2018, Seville will host the fourth edition of Expocañamo, an international cannabis fair bringing together industry professionals and visitors seeking medical or industrial information about cannabis.
With about 100 booths and a three-day conference, both the curious and experts will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of hemp. Tickets start at €12 for all three days.

UFCM–I Care Symposium
For its 7th edition, the UFCM–I Care symposium on the medical uses of cannabis will be held in Paris on June 1 at the Sorbonne. The previous six editions were held in Strasbourg and had already brought together the world’s leading experts in medical cannabis.

Amsterdam Cannabis Liberation Day
Amsterdam’s Cannabis Liberation Day celebrates the international cultural significance of cannabis and aims to highlight all the benefits this plant has to offer. It also calls for greater tolerance and the expansion of hemp use, and challenges the criminalization of the plant, its users, and its growers. The 10th edition will take place on June 17, 2018, at Flevopark in Amsterdam.

Cannabis Business Summit and Expo
From July 25 to 27, 2018, San Jose, California, will bring together cannabis professionals united by their shared passion, as well as those who advocate for, shape, and protect cannabis laws. More than 3,000 people are expected to attend the event’s 5th anniversary.

Berlin Hanfparade
The Hanfparade, a demonstration calling for the legalization of cannabis in Germany, will take place this year on August 11 in Berlin. This march has been held since 1997 and drew more than 12,000 people last year. The march is followed by concerts and festive events—and Berlin certainly knows how to pull that off.

Seattle Hempfest
Seattle Hempfest will celebrate its 27th anniversary in 2018. Its mission is to educate the public about the various uses of cannabis, the laws governing its use, efforts toward reform, and how to run a business in this new legal environment. Seattle Hempfest 2018 will take place August 17–19.

Cannafest Canada 2018
From August 9 to 11, 2018, Cannafest will take place in Grand Forks, British Columbia, in the countryside east of Vancouver. For 200$, participants will be able to stay for three days and camp on site, with plenty of rock concerts.

Expogrow in Irun
The 7th edition of Expogrow will take place in Irun from September 14 to 16. More than just a cannabis fair, it’s an opportunity to meet 150 exhibitors from the cannabis industry in a distinctly French atmosphere. In 2017, 65% of the 17,000 visitors came from France. For now, only the dates are known.

Cultiva Hanfmesse in Vienna
The 11th Austrian Cannabis Fair will take place in Vienna from October 12 to 14. More than 100 booths will be set up for visitors, who will have the chance to meet industry professionals, attend conferences, watch glassblowing demonstrations, and enjoy a big free party.

Technigrow
As the only French event dedicated to indoor cultivation, Technigrow is set to return for its second edition in Paris in November 2018.

Amsterdam Unity Cup
In 2017, the Unity Cup was finally replaced by a High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam. This somewhat haphazard competition among coffeeshops still manages to draw a small crowd and attract an audience more interested in Amsterdam than in the competition itself. No information is available yet on whether a 2018 edition will take place.
Prague Cannafest
Prague Cannafest is traditionally held around mid-November. No further information is available at this time.

Emerald Cup
Although no date has been announced yet, the Emerald Cup is expected to take place in Santa Rosa, California, in early December 2018. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we receive the information.
