Cannabis: thinking about change or changing the bandage
Tomorrow, November 14, the Sorbonne University (Paris) will host a conference initiated by NORML France and the Ceryx association on the future of public policy on cannabis in France.
The event is free but registration is compulsory. There are still a few places here.
This conference will provide an opportunity to discuss the state of cannabis legislation around the world, the current repressive situation in France and possible future legislation.
Although the subject remains widely debated among associations and specialists in cannabis law reform, and a certain consensus has long since emerged, the speakers are a welcome surprise.
Among those present will be :
- Geneviève Garrigos, former President of Amnesty International France
- Nathalie Latour, General Delegate, Fédération Addiction
- Katia Dubreuil, National Secretary of the Syndicat de la Magistrature and Magistrate at the TGI of Paris
- Fred Navarro, former President of Act-Up
- Yann Bisiou, Senior Lecturer in Private Law and Criminal Sciences at Montpellier III University
You can find the full program here on the NORML France website.
