2 Parisian coffeeshops raided
Two Parisian «coffeeshops» were raided this morning. Located in the 2nd and 11th arrondissement of Paris, BlueDreamLab and Cofyshop were visited by law enforcement around noon.
The stores could be closed pending the results of tests on the products sold, and some managers could be taken into custody.
Businesses in the 11th arrondissement that sell CBD or smoking accessories have also received courtesy visits to verify the integrity of the products they sell.
According to the information we have, this morning’s operation primarily targeted shops that openly market themselves as «coffeeshops,» with a focus on the sale of CBD flowers.
Update at 6:17 p.m.: Both stores were sealed off pending analysis of the products' THC levels.
We will update this article as we receive more information.
Correction: The previous version stated that a raid took place in the 10th arrondissement at Kong Coffeeshop instead of in the 2nd arrondissement at BluedreamLab.
