tCheck, the dosing tool for Space-Cookers
Space food, which now accounts for a third of the cannabis market in Colorado, produces infused foods that are potentially more potent and less harmful to health than a joint. But a cookie with too much THC can quickly lead to an uncontrollable bad trip.
Space-food brands are well aware of this, and carry out a whole series of tests, using cutting-edge technology, to determine the ideal THC concentration. Some US states have also legislated to limit cannabis levels to 10mg THC per serving. However, the operation is more complicated for home bakers. Every THC extraction technique is different, and there's no way of knowing how much THC to extract. know the amount of THC of a cookie or to check the future effectiveness of the space cake apart from tasting the final product.
Why shouldn't budding chefs be able to determine in advance the potency of their delicious creations?
An American brand has the solution: Northern California's Engineered Medical Technologies has just invented the tCheck, a little 250$ gadget that determines the cannabic concentration of your food. Marrakech butters or the’cannabis oil created with love.
To find out which slap your masterpiece will inflict, simply place a few drops of melted oil or butter on the tCheck tray. In less than a minute, the THC concentration appears on the display in milligrams per milliliter. The tCheck works with all types of liquid: coconut milk, honey, olive oil and even milkshakes.
Despite the lack of information on how the tCheck analyzes the amount of cannabinoids, and whether it will be able to detect other cannabinoids such as CBD, the manufacturer assures the reliability of the product. This could be a major turning point for all lovers of homemade spacefood and patients treated with medical cannabis who need to precisely control the dosage of their medicine.
For the moment, this revolutionary product is not commercially available, but remains available for pre-sale.
