ANSM unveils temporary scientific committee on «implementation of medical cannabis trials in France».»

After ANSM's Temporary Specialized Scientific Committee (CSST) which validated the need to implement the Temporary Scientific Committee (CST) for the «implementation of medical cannabis trials in France».

Lasting 6 months, the CST will study the conditions for experimenting with therapeutic cannabis in France. Like we unveiled it 15 days ago, At least 3 topics will be on the agenda: product specifications, patient registers and training resources for healthcare staff.

According to the decision of ANSM, the STC will be composed of :

• Nicolas AUTHIER as Chairman of the CST. He already chaired the previous CSST on medical cannabis.
• Philippe ANDRIEUX, of the Principes Actifs association
• Nadine ATTAL, neurologist by training, pain specialist
• Lucas BEURTON-COURAUD, general practitioner in Finistère, France
• Pierre CHAMPY, Professor of Pharmacognosy
• Laure COPEL, oncologist and head of the Palliative Care Unit at the Diaconesses Croix Saint-Simon Hospital Group
• Patrick DAIME, general practitioner and representative of the Conseil National de l'Ordre des Médecins (Cnom)
• Carole DE MULATIER, Project Manager, Union pour la lutte contre la sclérose en plaques (UNISEP)
• Vera DINKELACKER, neurologist
• Samira DJEZZAR, hospital doctor and member of addictovigilance IDF
• Antoine DUPUIS, Professor of Pharmacy
• Yannick FRELAT, member of Epilepsie France
• Marie-Madeleine GILANTON, spokesperson for the 'Espoir (Im)patient' association, President of APAISER (Association Pour Aider et Informer les Syringoméliques Européens Réunis) and member of the Alliance Maladies Rares.
