Justin Bieber launches his «Peaches» pre-rolled joints»
Justin Bieber has teamed up with Los Angeles-based cannabis company Palms to launch «Peaches,» a line of pre-rolled joints named after a song on his latest album.
Palms specializes in cannabis pre-rolls, and its flagship product line is currently available in California and Nevada.
Peaches pre-rolls are available from today in three adult-use markets: California, Nevada and Massachusetts, as well as in Florida. Packages cost between 50 and 60 $ and contain seven half-gram joints in fruity and citrus flavors. In Florida, they will contain only 5 pre-rolls, in line with the state's restrictive medical cannabis rules.
Although financial details of the Palms-Bieber partnership have not been disclosed, a portion of Peaches' profits would be donated to cannabis support groups, including Veterans Walk and Talk and the Last Prisoner Project.
«I'm a fan of Palms and what they do in making cannabis accessible and helping to destigmatize it, especially for the many people who find it helpful for their mental health. I wanted to make sure I was doing something with them that was authentic and Peaches seemed like a good place to start,» said Justin Bieber, who has already explained his cannabis use to manage their own mental health.
Palms co-founder Noah Annes told Forbes that the «vulnerability and the opening of Bieber about his mental health issues» had impressed the company. «With Justin's help in shining a spotlight on these important topics, we hope to inspire others to speak more freely about both mental health and cannabis use.».
