Singer Mika invests in French CBD brand Divie
The luxury CBD brand Divie welcomes a new addition: singer Mika. Known around the world for his hit song Relax, in 2007, the Franco-Lebanese singer announced that he was acquiring a stake in the company, founded in 2019 by Alexandre Perez. « J’During my tours, I was able to see for myself the benefits of »this molecule that brings a new sense of balance to everyday life,", the artist explains in the press release.
According to our information, Michaël Hollbrock—his real name—has invested nearly 20,000 euros in this «new adventure.». However, in this scenario, the financial contribution is just as important as the media exposure provided by this new partner.
«Growth engine»
«Having someone who appears every week on TF1 on *The Voice*, but also in England, Italy, and Quebec, is a driver of growth. Let’s be honest—”, says the founder of Divie, when reached by Newsweed. But that’s not why he’s with us. Mika is a shareholder, just like the other two partners. He’ll play his part to the fullest.»
Mika should not attend all board meetings – «He's a very busy man.», notes Alexandre Perez—but he will contribute his part to the development of new products and their packaging, which is always carefully designed to reflect the image of brand.
With the singer on board, Divie has become a rather unique CBD brand, made up of current and former figures from the entertainment world: Alexandre Perez is a former TV producer (Star Academy, Salut Les Terriens, Le Before du Grand Journal…), partnered with Pierre-Antoine Capton, the CEO of Mediawan. This entertainment giant is the largest provider of TV series in France.
