From oil to cosmetics, Cibdol offers CBD for everyone
The democratization of CBD has helped change the image of cannabis from a stoner cliché to one of well-being. The relaxation of cannabis laws and a certain enthusiasm around its benefits have legitimized the medicinal claims surrounding CBD, but it's the maturation of the CBD market that has given it its greatest exposure.
Cibdol is one of the brands that have turned the corner, offering various types of CBD products. Cultivating its «Swiss pharmaceutical» image, Cibdol offers quality products, tested and conforming to the strictest standards.
What does CBD have to do with these products?
The CBD's most seductive properties are its anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. CBD has been shown to treat dry skin, psoriasis and eczema, as well as inflammatory pain. Inflammation is at the root of many ailments, from acne to signs of aging. Depending on application methods and formulations, CBD can also be used to cleanse the skin or as a massage lotion.
Of course, there's still plenty of research to be done, but scientists are intrigued by its potential, discovered in the 1960s in Israel. By controlling inflammation, CBD could prove a solution for many applications, such as painful joints or muscles sore from sport, and for people who can't or don't want to use more aggressive products.
How does CBD work?
Our body manufactures its own endocannabinoids, for example anandamide, which regulate essential functions such as sleep, appetite and mood. In the event of imbalance, these functions are affected. An external intake can naturally raise cannabinoid levels in the body and restore homeostasis.
By ingesting CBD as a dietary supplement or infused in an oil or food, it enters the bloodstream and targets the body's endocannabinoid receptors. When applied to the skin, CBD acts on the area where it is deposited, targeting an inflamed joint or damaged skin area, for example. It also binds to the upper layers of the skin, providing longer-term relief.
What CBD products does Cibdol offer?
Cibdol's flagship product is its CBD oil. Available in doses ranging from 2.5 to 30% of CBD, it contains either olive oil or hemp oil. The latter contains more terpenes, antioxidants and amino acids, and still 0% of THC.
CBD oil is also available in in softgel capsules, capsules, with doses ranging from 4 to 20%. Capsules are a simple, discreet and effective way of absorbing a concentrated dose of CBD that will last longer than oil. Capsules are also suitable for people who don't like the taste of CBD oil.
Cibdol recently launched a cosmetics range, CBD Beauty. Topical application of CBD enables precise targeting of the areas to be treated, and plays on cannabidiol's antioxidant properties. The CBD Face Serum works throughout the night to provide firmer, fresher skin in the morning. Built on a base of CBD, aloe vera, vitamin C, vitamin E and hyaluronic acid, each ingredient works in harmony with the skin's natural qualities.
The Anti-dark circle roll-on with CBD firms the under-eye area. Vitamin B5 works with hyaluronic acid to deeply nourish the skin, while shea butter provides a protective barrier to tackle fine lines, reinforce elasticity and optimize skin hydration.
