Conan O'Brien smokes a joint on air with Seth Rogen
In one of the latest episodes of Conan On the episode that aired on June 22, Conan O’Brien welcomed Seth Rogen as a guest on his show, which led to a few surprises.
As O’Brien wraps up the final episodes of his show and will soon have more free time to spare, he asked Rogen for some advice on how to pass the time. Seth Rogen then pulled out a joint—which he had, of course, in his pocket—and handed it to O’Brien.
That's when the episode started to get interesting, and a stunt An unexpected event unfolded before viewers« eyes. »I think you should try this weed,« Rogen said without hesitation. »And I think you’ll have a really good time.« O’Brien then replied, »Got a light?”
Rogen handed him the joint and a lighter, but O’Brien wasn’t sure which end of the joint to light, and admitted that his experience with cannabis was extremely limited. Then he started smoking, a little clumsily, but with determination.
«When is this thing that’s supposed to happen going to happen?» O’Brien asked, before joking, «I’m driving a school bus in an hour.»
O’Brien tried to move on to the next part of the interview, but Rogen was simply too excited to hold back. «I’m so happy about what just happened,» Rogen said.
Andy Richter, O’Brien’s longtime sidekick and co-host, also joined the group during the episode’s broadcast.

According to Seth Rogen, the skit was completely unplanned, and he said on Twitter that he was terrified of pushing Conan O’Brien a little too far, describing the event as «surreal.».
