Coffeeshop 96 is located on Jan Pieter Heijestraat in Amsterdam's Oud-West (Old West) neighborhood, just a short distance north of Vondel Park.

To get to this neighborhood by tram, you can take the No. 17 from downtown.

This place is mainly for locals, but you'll see tourists there from time to time, especially in the summer.

It's mainly a «buy and fly» café, but there's space to relax with seating for about a dozen people.

There is also a wooden bench where you can sit outside the coffeeshop.

The menu is fairly small, but the prices are reasonable, and most of the strains are old-school, with a few Thai and Jamaican outdoor imports.

The selection of hashish is much more limited. The options here are limited to traditional imports pressed in Morocco and other regions.
