Exhibition: Principes Actifs / Principes Créatifs in Paris from May 24 to June 4, 2017
Mark your calendars! Principes Actifs, a French organization dedicated to providing information and promoting prevention regarding the therapeutic use of cannabis, is organizing an exhibition dedicated to the medical use of cannabis, starting Wednesday, May 24.
«Certain active ingredients work synergistically with one another, thereby creating new therapeutic and psychoactive possibilities,» as the association likes to point out Principles and Assets. Medical cannabis derives its therapeutic benefits from its active ingredients, notably cannabidiol (CBD) and THC. These small molecules gave their name to the organization, which works every day to educate people with illnesses and patients on the proper use of cannabinoids in medicine.
The exhibition «Active Ingredients / Creative Principles» will feature 25 artists exploring the theme of the therapeutic use of cannabis: Anne Van der Linden – Arnaud Baumann – Catherine Dard – Cavern – Damien Roudeau – Dom Garcia – Elvire Clev – Eric Birambeau – Philippe Ferin – Gébé – Jocelin – Joko – Kiki Picasso – Léo Vargas – Lolo Thomas – Lucie Dobaria – Matt Kontur – Muzo – Olivia Clavel – Pascal – Philippe Lagautrière – Phix – Pierre Estable – Pierre Ouin – Placid – Pyon
Through this exhibition, the association Principes Actifs invites artists—whom the CIRC refers to as «friends of the cause»—with the aim of broadening the usual discussions, actions, and practices surrounding medical cannabis.
This exhibition features collages, drawings, photographs, paintings, videos, performances, and cannabis-related hype.
The exhibition will take place from May 24 to June 4, 2017, at the Echo Musée—21 rue Cavé—75018 Paris. An opening reception will also be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
